11, 2001: A meeting with the Horse Trails
Subcommittee of the Ramona Community Planning Group was
held onsite. The subcommittee provided input on
the publicly accessible equestrian trails planned for
the project. Their input is being incorporated into
the design of the equestrian trails.
October 5, 2000: The project went before the Ramona
Community Planning Group to obtain additional comments
on the Notice of Preparation for the EIR. The primary
issues raised were concerns about groundwater, potential
noise impacts of the project and how the project may affect
rural character of the community.
September 27, 2000: We received our approved Notice of
Preparation for the EIR (Environmental Impact Report)
on September 1 (21 days ahead of the County's timeline
and one week ahead of our timeline). All sub consultants
have been retained. Should have first draft EIR
November December. County has us scheduled
for our first draft EIR January 22, 01. We will
do our best to stay ahead of the County's timeline. We
have a great team. Contact us for details. 858-456-2449
August 3, 2000: Still pushing ahead.
See article in Ramona Sentinel. We will continue to do
the things required to get the proper permits for our
ultimate goal.
June 1, 2000: Tried to get additional comments regarding
scoping letter form the Ramona Planning Group. The
same issues come up. Water (we have plenty and we
will have a valve to open if needed to purchase the water)
and sound (noise level is way below the 55 decibels set
by Ramona and the County). A few residents have
decided to take us up on our offer to fly to Imperial
Lakes and hear for themselves. Should be educational
for all.
Lydia and I are moving forward. Lots of $$$ and
hard work. Call us for details 858-456-2449.
May 2, 2000: Received Scoping Letter. We are

Stocks and five department heads. (Environmental, Noise,

for Final Map. Appears we are on the right track.
April 25, 2000: We met with the Ramona Water District
Board of Directors. A motion was passed to refrain
from any decision making regarding sewer annexation until
